We have various types of mulch for you to use in your project. Spreading mulch across the top of the soil effectively helps to keep the soil beneath it moist. The growth of weeds is also heavily reduced when it’s applied correctly. Mulch can be laid down around existing plant life or The fertility of the soil is greatly enhanced when certain types of mulch are applied.
During different times of the season, mulch has different advantages. When growing season begins, the soil is able to retain heat better during the night because it acts as insulation. Alternatively, it keeps the soil cool in the peak summer months. The reason the soil can remain moist is because mulch prevents direct sunlight to come into contact with the soil which means that water cannot as easily evaporate.
